We sell goods and food products (including long-life food) at a distance (online). Before placing an order you can review product descriptions, prices and delivery terms on this website.
All prices are indicated with applicable VAT. Delivery costs are shown during checkout before you confirm the order.
Payment: by card or internet banking. Delivery in Latvia usually within 1–5 business days after payment is received.
As a consumer you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any reason, for goods to which this right applies. The period runs from the day you (or a third party you designate) physically receive the goods.
Exceptions: The right of withdrawal does not apply to: (a) goods which are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly (e.g. perishable food); (b) sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and which were unsealed after delivery. So for perishable food, or food whose packaging has been opened after delivery, the right of withdrawal does not apply.
To exercise the right of withdrawal you must inform us (SIA VOS TAC, info@vostac.lv, +371 20666685) of your decision. You may use the standard withdrawal form or simply send a clear statement. You must send back the goods without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day you communicate your withdrawal. You bear the direct cost of returning the goods unless we have clearly agreed otherwise.
We will reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery costs (except for any extra costs arising from your choice of a delivery type other than the least expensive standard option), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day we receive the returned goods or your notice of withdrawal. We will use the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction.
Non-food goods: For goods (products) that are not food, the statutory two-year legal guarantee against defects applies. You may return defective or non-conforming goods or claim repair, replacement, a price reduction or a refund in accordance with applicable law.
Food products: We are responsible for ensuring that food conforms to the contract (quality, description, expiry). If food is non-conforming (e.g. defective, incorrectly labelled), you have the right to claim replacement or a refund in accordance with the law. Food is not subject to a “two-year warranty” in the same way as durable goods; the applicable rules are set out in the Consumer Rights Protection Law.
